Me And My Website |
I guess I was always somewhat of a Tomboy. I grew up just after the end of Steam, and the beginning of Diesel. Those fine Railroad folks were never too busy to wave and say Hi. (The occasional invites into the cab for a look around were nice too! - We won't mention the rides too loudly, but my thanks are there.) |
It was the B&M that went through our town, and I have always loved that blue. The Guilford colors just aren't the same. I managed to get my fingers into some 027, HO and N along the way, but I always liked just putting the track down and making it go. Lots of switches and complexity. Course I was limited by funds. Never had much time for scenery. I lack patience. :) With Trainz, that chore is now much easier, and I am starting to learn the basics of it. Since I am new to scenicing, this could take a really long time. |
I wanted a flatcar for my US Rail line, but the paintshed template comes loaded. Bah. So I am learning gmax so I can roll my own. Mesh? Before I came here, I thought that was my window sceen. I have so much to learn. |
More? I work. I'm also an amateur Meteorologist. My name is Steph. You can read and learn more about me by visiting my other home page, and the Troy Weather Network |
I'm PM-able, on AIM, and iPortal friendly. Feel free to give a shout as we pass on the main... |
